We are Dexter and Pamela Montgomery, authors, entrepreneurs, and speakers. We are a married couple and business partners. We were a typical two-income couple living in the suburbs outside of Washington, D.C. Pamela had over 30 years experience as a practicing attorney. During her career she served six years on active duty as an officer in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General's Corps. Dexter had over 30 years experience in business and finance.
We were each working 65-70 hours a week in office jobs and wanted to find a way out of the rat race. By owning an online business helping other entrepreneurs and investing in real estate Pamela was able to retire from her job sooner than expected. Now we are just that much closer to fully living the life of our dreams. Pamela is now able to work from home or anywhere in the world. We have more time for travel and to work with the non-profit organizations that we support. Dexter serves on the board of a foundation dedicated to housing those with disabilities in Woodbridge, VA. Pamela serves as the Chair of the Board of Trustees of an all-girls public charter school in Washington, D.C.
Both of us have extensive backgrounds in marketing. Pamela served as the chief spokesperson for a federal agency and was responsible for all of its educational programming. She traveled across the nation representing the agency as a speaker at numerous meetings, seminars, and conferences. In addition to her subject matter expertise, she was also the event planner and manager of several annual national training programs that attracted more than 1000 attendees.
We understand what it is like to have a fabulous message to share with the world and then to have difficulty reaching those who would benefit most from what you have to offer. We discovered that by leveraging the power of the internet to teach classes, recommend goods and services, and to help other entrepreneurs market their businesses we were able to generate multiple streams of income. An online training and marketing business allows us to reach our ideal client in a much more powerful way.
